Matt Weesner Piano
Matt Weesner Matt Weesner is a talented pianist. In addition to performing as a pianist/keyboardist with the Hazel Miller Band, Matt Weesner also works in public radio, as a host for Colorado Public Radio's classical music network (KVOD 88.1FM in Denver). He also hosts a weekly Americana music show that is heard Saturday nights on statewide South Dakota Public Radio.

Before moving to Colorado in 2004, Matt lived in Iowa and South Dakota, and worked with blues guitarist Scotty Spenner. During those years, Matt opened shows/festivals for greats such as Buddy Guy, Dr. John, Duke Robillard, and Magic Slim and the Teardrops.

Recent performances with the Hazel Miller Band have included the inauguration parties for Governor John Hickenlooper and Mayor Michael Hancock, The Winter Park Jazz Festival, Taste of Colorado, The People's Fair, and other music festivals across Colorado.

Matt is a pianist at Loving Saints Christian Fellowship, and also plays at Greenwood Community Church and Cherry Hills Community Church.
He and his wife, Teresa, have three above-average children: Tanner, Mackenzie and Brianna.
