Dana Marsh piano
Dana Marsh Dana Marsh has spent many years developing his skills as a pianist, concentrating on jazz and contemporary music. Dana grew up in southern Indiana where he met, studied and performed with, world renowned jazz educator, Jamey Aebersold. Dana is a graduate of Bellarmine College in Louisville, KY and received the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award in 1980.

Dana came to Colorado in 1982 when he was offered a teaching assistantship in the graduate program in music theory and jazz studies at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley Colorado.

Dana's professional performance experience includes (e.g. clubs, lounges, private engagements, churches, concerts). Performances include solo piano as well as various group ensembles covering many styles of music. Dana has performed with and opened for many top names in music such as Bobby McFerrin, Lou Rawls, The Temptations, Mel Torme, Jerry Mulligan and B. B. King. Dana also performed professionally with many of Denver's local greats such as Ron Henry, Billy Tolles, Lannie Garrett, James Van Buren, Hazel Miller, Laura Newman and Nelson Rangell. Dana is currently working as pianist/music director for the Hazel Miller Band.
